about

Center of Disease is a Brutal Death Metal band originating from the Tulsa, Oklahoma area. Formed in 2012, the band started to become popular in their native hometown and even grasping the attention of their neighboring states due to their thunderous drums, pulverizing riffs and and tortuous vocals. They played numerous shows with bigger name bands and festivals trailblazing through and earning their notoriety.

With tons of road time under the belts, The Disease decided that it was time to start recording for their debut LP " Morbidious Malformations". Completely DIY,

band was quick to show that they weren't "Just another Tulsa local". With some of the heaviest, plague-ridden music Tulsa had seen at that time.

After a couple of tours, (one with Abolishment of Flesh and a Headlining tour) and playing numerous festivals (TXDM, West Texas Death Fest, Tulsa Death Fest, Las Vegas Death Fest) the band decided that it was time to part ways with their guitarist and take a new route with their song writing.

Ideas began flowing, and the band quickly recorded their follow up EP "Unholy Excarnations"  this release is the

most relentless, unforgiving release the band has to date. Full of intense riffing and insane blasting, the EP does NOT let up. Accompanied by special guest vocalist Martin Witchskinner of the Notorious German Death/Grind band Blood on tracks like "Autopsia Cadaverum"  or  "The Nauseating Stench of Necrotic Fermentation".

The band lineup has changed throughout the years but the current lineup consists of;

Shawn McCullough - Bass

Mike Winston - Guitars

Ben Gleason - Drums

James Geisler - Vocals

This lineup is currently working on new material for release in mid for 2023.
